What mobile tire repair includes
On-site repair when the puncture is safe to patch.
Repair eligibility depends on the puncture's location and size, the tire's condition, and damage that may be hidden inside. The tire must be removed from the wheel for a complete inspection. A photo can help with the initial conversation but cannot confirm that a tire is repairable.
A tread puncture may qualify for repair. Sidewall or shoulder damage, unsafe wear, and internal damage can rule it out. If repair is unsuitable, we can discuss installing your usable spare or sourcing a replacement tire when available. An unsafe location or damaged wheel may require a towing provider.
Repair depends on the inspection. We will not patch a tire when the damage is outside a safe repair area or the tire is no longer serviceable.

What makes a tire a possible repair candidate.
The puncture is small
A puncture larger than 1/4 inch, or about 6 millimeters, is not considered a standard repair candidate.
The tire was not damaged while flat
Driving on a flat tire can damage the sidewall and inner structure even when the original puncture looks small.
The rest of the tire is serviceable
Unsafe tread, exposed cords, cracking, bulges, or other damage can rule out repair.

Can every flat tire be patched?
No. Repair depends on the puncture location and size, the condition of the tire, and whether it was damaged while driven flat.
Can a sidewall puncture be repaired?
No. Sidewall and shoulder damage is outside the standard repair area and generally requires tire replacement.
How large can a repairable puncture be?
USTMA guidance limits standard passenger and light-truck tire puncture repairs to injuries no larger than 1/4 inch (6 millimeters) in the repairable tread area. Inspection and the tire manufacturer's restrictions still apply.
Is an outside plug a permanent repair?
A plug alone is not a complete repair. The tire must be removed from the wheel and inspected. An eligible puncture needs the injury filled and the inner liner sealed; tire-manufacturer restrictions also apply.
What if I drove on the tire while it was flat?
Driving while flat can damage the tire internally and may rule out repair. Tell dispatch how far the vehicle traveled after losing pressure.
Can tire sealant affect the repair?
Yes. Tell the technician if sealant was used. The tire still needs to be removed and inspected before any repair decision.
How quickly can mobile tire repair arrive?
